About One Mind Foundation
The One Mind Foundation was created from a simple belief:
Whole-child wellness should be accessible to every family.
Built on the same clinical expertise that powers One Mind Family's therapy practice, the Foundation exists to make that a reality by bringing trusted, expert-backed knowledge into living rooms, backyards, classrooms, and communities across Central Indiana.
Anywhere that shoes can be left at the door, we want to show up.
A Deeper Look
We believe that confident, resilient children aren't born by chance. They're supported intentionally at home, in school, and in the community.
Our Mission
One Mind Foundation equips children and the adults who love them with the education, experiences, and community to grow stronger, together.
Our Vision
A world where every family has access to the support they need to thrive, and where the communities around them are strong enough to make that possible.

Our Philosophy — The Five Pillars
Across cultures and centuries, the healthiest communities share something in common: presence, connection, and the belief that we grow stronger together. One Mind Foundation brings that wisdom home and into a practical framework built for Central Indiana families.

Pause
Create space before reaction. We teach families to slow the moment down, to breathe, notice body signals, and create room for choice before reacting.
A pause can change a family pattern.

Notice
Connect
Build awareness without judgment. We help children and adults observe what they feel, think, and need with curiosity instead of shame. Instead of “what is wrong with my child?” we ask “what is my child feeling, needing, or responding to?”
Strengthen the relationship before correcting the behavior. Children feel safe enough to learn when they first feel connected. Connection creates the conditions for change, and healing never happens in isolation.
You cannot guide what you do not notice.
Connection creates the conditions for change.

Align
Bring heart, mind, and action into harmony. When what you feel, what you think, and how you respond are no longer at odds, children can experience stability. Alignment is where values meet behavior.
When families live in alignment, children experience stability.

Grow
Practice daily, repair often, evolve together. Strong foundations are built through practice, not performance.
Small daily rituals, apology and repair, and celebrating progress are how families grow.
Foundation is built through practice, not performance.
Core Beliefs
These beliefs are the foundation beneath everything we do, the values that shape how we show up for families across Central Indiana.
Presence over perfection
Families don't need to be flawless. They need to be present.
Behavior is communication
A child's actions are often an expression of a deeper feeling or unmet need.
Regulation comes before reasoning
Children learn best when they feel safe, not when they feel overwhelmed.
Connection is a necessity
Love and support should not be removed when behavior is hard.
What affects one affects all
Healing one relationship can ripple outward to the whole family.
Small rituals build strong roots
Tiny repeated moments of safety and connection matter more than occasional big gestures.
The team behind the foundation
